Royal Staffordshire's 'First Dance' figurine is made entirely in England, in Staffordshire, the home of fine china since the 1750s, the Royal Staffordshire factory still uses fine English bone china, translucent and delicate. It’s her first ball. She wears her magnificent ball gown for the first time, made just for her, a swirling silken skirt and an embroidered bodice. She waits nervously for a handsome young man to ask: “May I have the first dance…” It’s a memorable event in any girl’s life…and sculptor Mal Pashley has recreated this special moment in a superb new collector’s figurine ‘First Dance.’Admire the perfect detailing on the girl’s face and hands, the crisp decoration on her bodice, the flow of her gown: here’s a figurine you will be proud to treasure for generations to come.
